With three decades of experience in television/film, advertising and virtual production, Patreece is a veteran producer with a wide range of experience and a solid rolodex. Patreece has recently re-launched her production company under a new name, Cultureland Studios,with an emphasis on developing stories that highlight various cultures: lifestyle, music, fashion, food, art, religion, etc. It is her goal to collaborate with others to document and preserve the rich tapestry that is Caribbean culture while also exploring cultures worldwide. Current projects include: Hot Ones Caribbean and other shows in development for TEMPO Networks, Akeno feature film, C.R.E.A.M feature film, Carnival House reality show, Hot Bush Tea With Theron Thomas web series, Culture Bearers docuseries, Urban Fashion Organization docuseries and Caribbean Girls Rock! blog and apparel.
Patreece began her career as on-air talent/host on a teen talk show in her hometown of St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands before working behind the scenes at the local PBS and ABC stations and later in New York at Lifetime Television. She went on to produce and direct hundreds of lifestyle shows for TV2, USVI before moving back to the States. Patreece has built her career in Atlanta, GA for 18 years now and has led the production of hundreds of content pieces, promos and shows for various companies such as BBDO (Toys R Us, Novant Health ad campaigns), Trick 3d (Delta Air Lines virtual production) Turner Broadcasting (Falling Skies and The Last Ship on TNT), Tyler Perry Studios (Young Dylan, Sistas, Bruh, The Oval, Ruthless), Monami Entertainment (Love & Hip Hop Black History Month Specials) as well as Scripps Networks (Johnson & Finding Happy with Bird and a Bear, Act Your Age with MGM and Mind Your Business with Harvest Studios) and much, much more.
Patreece enjoys mentoring aspiring producers and planning industry events. She has been active in various capacities with several national organizations such as Women In Cable Telecommunications, Women In Film & Television Atlanta and currently the Stonecrest Film & Entertainment Commission as well as with her graduate chapter of Alpha Kappa AlphaSorority, Inc. She is an honors graduate of both Strayer University with an MBA in Marketing and Howard University with a BA in Radio/TV/Film.
